As the founder and CEO of Islands, she is building a technology company that builds economic infrastructure for the community economy. She also co-hosts a podcast with Alexis Ohanian, founder of Reddit, called Probably Nothing where they discuss all things web3.
Since 2014, she's been one of the most sought-after youth trends and marketing experts.
Previously, as the founder and CEO of Zebra IQ, a youth insights technology company, she's worked with Snapchat, Levi Strauss, Turner Broadcasting, Google, and other major companies to help them reach the youth through actionable Gen Z insights and marketing strategy.
She also invests and advises companies as the founding fund manager of Pineapple Capital. Some examples of board advisory positions she's held are Otto Radio (acquired by Ximalaya valued at $3.5B) and Distributed Systems (acquired by Coinbase).
She was formerly the youngest VC in the world, working at a $300 million venture capital firm at 18 years old.
